…and stripped it of its source. At least this time they left the watermark? >_< IT IS NOT THAT HARD TO HIT THE REBLOG BUTTON. Hell, even if you pulled it off dA, they have reblogging options
And people wonder why I am hesitant to draw fan art these days.
Tintin in New York, with special guests the Witch of New York and James Cooper.
Also known as: Tintin doing a lot of running. Lots, and LOTS of running. (what’s new?)
This most likely happens after the incident with the Picaros and the Alph-Art. He’s still in the pants (sorry, plus-fours worshippers).
Side tangent: It’s interesting how, as Tintin aged (evolved?) his hairline advanced forward on his head- sort of reverse receding hairline. His jaw/head also becomes more defined/squareish, and his ‘blank features’ get more detail. I *love* these evolutions in Herge’s work, as we get to see Tintin become more and more defined.
(and yes, this is the picture I was drawing when the guy was hitting on me at work. *sob*)
A modern Tintin, wandering the streets in search of a story. Not that he needs to, they just seem to find him.
I suspect he’s an online reporter, but you could work it any way you want, really.
Yet another Tintin, with a bit of a modern twist. *shrug* It’s curious to think of how he’d have evolved further on.
Yeah, I have no idea where the hell this came from. I realize this is wrong, I have ruined many people’s childhood, and will be burning my sketchbook accordingly.
I think I posted it mostly to creep out my future room mate. Or I might be a wee bit horny.
I apologize to all my followers.
Steampunk Tintin and Snowy, off on another adventure. Inspired by the old Herge illos from Tintin magazine of the history of different transportation.
While I like the idea of ‘TinPunk’, as someone dubbed it, I didn’t like the static pose of the last picture (also, I was forever annoyed by the muck up of his neck).
I swear I can draw other things besides steampunk and Tintin…
Oh Snowy has a clock on him….
I love my friends.
I have to admit a guilty pleasure : I think the idea of Tintin and Martine is adorable, even if I am not normally one who thinks of Tintin with anyone. But studying Herge’s storyboards makes me interested in her as a character, and wish we had a little more information of what Herge had planned.
Ok, and maybe the possibility of a red headed, glasses wearing, art gallery employee appeals to me JUST a little. XD

I swear I can draw other things besides Steampunk and Tintin. I just choose not to. ;p
(I swear I have some X-Files and Doctor Who things in the works, really.)
Tintin and the Witch of New York, Herge style. Hey, if Tintin can meet aliens on a volcano and the yeti, why not a proper city witch?
Unlike her husband, when the Witch meets Tintin, there’s no imminent threat of danger. But give Tintin a minute, I’m sure he’ll find some. This is is actually the first time I’ve gotten to draw her properly in her ‘official’ outfit. At least, the one she wears when holding office.
Small signature in the corner will hopefully keep the ‘let’s remove the source and stick our watermark on it’ people a little bit. *Siiigh*
